Our first gig took place at the Silent Woman in Slaithwaite on Thursday the 20th of November 2003 and even though this is coming from a fairly biased view point it was a resounding success. Pretty much all the songs were well received but the audience reaction all the way through the second set from the first bars of Whiskey in the Jar to the last note of Johnny B Goode was nothing short of brilliant.
Pete, our Rhythm guitarist who was playing his very first live gig must have so impressed a lady in the audience that she threw a certain part of her lingerie at him ( we know who she is but modesty prevails us from disclosing her name )All in all it was an excellent night and we would like to thank everyone for attending and making the night very special.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say and at the end of the night Ken, the landlord approached us and said he had enjoyed it and could we return on Thursday the 11th of December to play again so thank you very much Ken and it would be excellent to see as many people at the next gig.
A special thank you goes out to Pete ( a different Pete to the one in the band )who made all the arrangements and has even offered the use of his own PA system until we get fully sorted. Thank you Pete you are a true gentleman and a credit to the live music scene. Pete plays as a solo artist under the name of "Woody" and as part of a trio under the name "Roundup" and both are fully recomended as a great musical night out.

Our rebooking at The Silent Woman was just as succesful. We added a few new songs that were famously under re-hearsed but we pulled them of excellently. Many thanks must go to Pete for the loan of the PA and Nick for picking it up for us and to the fans who travelled quite a distance on a wet and windy December night to see us. A special thanks to the ladies who supplied the backing vocals on Mustang Sally. I know you don't believe us but we really were videoing the gig !!!!
