At the first few practice sessions many songs and styles were tried but the ones that stood out from the crowd were the classic rock songs from the seventies. Maybe it's cos these were played with the most enthusiasm or what but they just seemed to fit right. The average age of the band is about 40 something so we all grew up in the era when guitar bands were king ( non of your namby pamby 80's keyboard stuff for us ) having said that one of our more popular songs is a classic 80's keyboard song ( converted for guitar of course !! ) We also put a good selection of other classic songs in to ensure the whole audience is entertained.
